Stylewars and Rail Jam!

It's good to be back in Melbs now after along time of travelling. I've recently been to Falls Creek for Stylewars. The training day went well, and the competition day 1 went alright, I was abit disapointed. Day 2 went well, I was stoked at my result. Then we had the rail jam under lights, I was abit disapointed with how I went in it but everyone has those days....
I ended up 14th overall in the slopestyle,
I landed my 4th backside 900 ever and I was rapt about that.

Stylewars Day 1 (Training)

Today was the first day of training for Stylewars. It was a fun day as Me, DVP (Declan V-p) and Cam started spinning in the first copple of laps and had a ball. I will post every day on how it went.

Perisher Aussie Junior Series

Last week i was at Perisher training and competing. i went alright in the australian junior series and came 2nd in slope and 4th in halfpipe.

Weekend at hotham!

This is my new edit from Mt Hotham and I will tell you about it. I went pretty good, I ended up 2nd in the rail comp, and 4th in the big air. We left on Friday morning to go up to Hotham and got back to Melbourne on Sunday night.
I'm going to Perisha on Wednesday for 1 1/2 weeks for about 5 comps. On Friday week I will travel to Falls Creek for Stylewars. As soon as I get back I will update u guys.

New rail in Mt Buller park!!

Today on Friday the 15th of July, I got up early and looked outside just to see a perfect day, blue bird, no wind, I knew I could get some tricks down... First we went up to summit to hit some jumps for the first time this season. It was super fun and I tried to get my front 360's tail back but kept decking it, so I stopped because I hurt my back, I got backside 540's melon back and smooth. In the afternoon we went to the rail park to start practicing for the 2011 Burton Cattleman's Rail Jam, I ended up learning 2 new ticks and have them on lock; they are cab 270, and backside 270. At 2:30pm they opened the new rail which is the same as the Cattleman's Rail but it’s in the park so we can try out on it. It was a super fun session but it was pretty scary at first but I got use to it. Can’t wait for tomorrow for the real try outs and try to get in, my only real goal of this season is to get into the 2011 Burton Cattleman's Rail Jam.
I will be posting tomorrow on how I go and if I got in or not and what I throw down.

First day of TSC, New Edit comming up...

Hey guys,
Today was the first day of my snowboarding program called TSC, I’ve been with them for 3 years now and I’m looking forward to another good season with them, My coach is Will Harris, his a sick snowboarder and he knows a lot, today was a pretty bad day at Mt Buller as it was raining/snowing all day, windy and foggy all day, and icy. It was a pretty fun day and can’t wait for tomorrow to come for another fun day :-).
I am right now currently making a new edit from Breckenridge, as i got all my video and a new computer that runs the video, because my old one didn’t run the video haha.
So that should be up later tonight and if not defiantly tomorrow :-)

Mt Buller comp 2/7/2011 and Thredbo comp 25/6/2011

Yesterday on the 2nd of July, there was a competition that I didn't even know about till the friday haha. So I was quite exited for my 2nd comp of the season. My first comp was at Thredbo on the 25th of June and I went pretty bad in it, as I fell on my first run, then second run I landed but it was scetchy and I ended up 11th in that comp so i was pretty disapointed... But then I got rid of that for this comp at Mt Buller. The comp was well organised and ran very smothly, it was 1 and half hour practice. We had to hike all that time, then it was 1hr jam session. Then after that there was a 10min break then finals and top 5 got into finals. They announced the top 5 finalist and I heard my name so I was really happy.In the finals you got 3 runs. I did my first 2 runs and was stoked on how I went and I still had 1 more run to go so I went abit harded but didn't want to hurt my self before the season of comps started... I did my last run then went inside for something to drink because we had been hiking for the whole night.... and at presentations I waited to hear my name because I thought I might of got 2nd... but then I heard my name as 1st and I was soo stoked, I got $175 and a TSC jumper.
It was a really fun comp and can't wait for the rest of the season.

Back in Melbs after the first weekend of the season!!

I am now back in Melbourne after a good weekend at Mt Buller for the opening season. It was pretty fun as there was a little park set up on the main run. I was hitting only the rails getting ready for next weekend which I am at Thredbo for the first competition of the seaon which is a rail comp. The comp is on the 18th of June which is next Saturday... so all I need to do is get though a week of school.. haha
I will post again on the friday before I leave and on the Saturday or Sunday depends when I have internet on how I went and some pics ;)

First Day Of The Australian Winter Season!!!

Today was a very good day at Mt Buller. It was the first day of the Australian season and there is a lot of snow and it was a very fun day. I left Melbourne at 10:30am and got to buller at 1:45pm then got ready to go snowboarding straight away because I couldn't wait to go snowboarding. I went for my first run in the park and it felt good to be back where I belong ;) I will be riding for the next two days and hopefully getting some vids and pics to post..!
I will be posting a lot this season as I will be competing a lot...
I will post this weekend again with pics or how i went.

Back to school.

Hey all I am currently just chilling in Ausie at Melb back to school, Im going to a new school its going alright I guess can't wait till the winter to come around cause I got a bunch of tricks i want to try...
Right now I wish I was in breck it's to hot here in Melb but the winter here should come around pretty soon.
I won't be making a new post untill then =]

3rd at Steamboat!!

On the 8th of January, Me, Ben, DVP, Jarrad, Laurence and Michaela drove to Steamboat for a slopestyle comp on the 9th of January. We got up early in the moring to get our bibs then headed up to the course. After getting to the course we had to wait like 30min to start pratice because the weather was really snowy and foggy but the comp still went on. At the end of the day TSC ended up with 3 podium placings with, Michaela winning 1st in her division, Laurence coming 2nd in his division, and I managed to end up with 3rd in the 14-15, age group. Then we packed the car for a 3hr to 3 1/2 hr ride home.
